Footsteps of Grace
God intended for us to be perfect, because He chose to make us meek
He provided us with the Bible, so our Spirits can read and seek
The knowledge of His Kingdom, majestically waiting for you and me
God offers His Kingdom so freely, but yet, we fail to see
He provides all we will ever need, with choices and blessings too
God gave His only son who suffered, and died for me and you
What greater love to be apart of, than a love that is filled with grace
A gift that is given in an abundance, with each trial we have to face
And still we fail to remember, whose footsteps to follow each day
We allow our sins to fill our hearts, and lead our footsteps away
Jesus never strayed away from God's path, He followed it to the end
Now He is the path for us, and where our footsteps should begin...
