LIFE’S INSTRUCTIONS
You are a great miracle released to me from God
to be nurtured with truth and grace
My heart races and skips a beat
each time I see the innocence beaming upon your face
The faith in my heart remembers every prayer
that was offered to get you safely here
So today I must impart ‘Life’s Instructions’ to you my Child,
for only your heart to hear
I know not what lies ahead for you in this life,
or what desires may lead you astray
However, I do know that you must face the world’s
temptations each and every day
You must be willing to stand and fight each temptation
with God’s wisdom and truth
And know in your heart that the choices you make in life,
will have consequences too
You will meet many people in your lifetime, and yes!
some will introduce your heart to sin
You must always remember who you are in Christ Jesus first,
before you invite others in
You will be challenged to prove yourself to others;
some people will take and some will give
Embrace wisdom with your heart, mind, body, and soul,
and you can resist, repent and live!
You are connected to a Greater Power that will
provide you with strength when you are weak
You will reach every goal, materialize every dream,
if you remain faithful, confident, and meek
You must allow your heart to discern each temptation in life,
and accept what your heart rejects
God loves you completely and I love you with my heart,
but it is up to you to earn your respect
Respect yourself as God Respects you, then others will follow
